Moisturising Body Oil
With the cooler weather fast approaching, your skin may be in desperate need of some hydration and nourishment.
We make this beautiful body oil in the Winter Wellness Make & Take Workshop and it is one the most recreated DIYs - as it can be used all year round and the calming combination of these floral essential oils is divine.
It can also be used as a bath oil - 1 tablespoon is plenty!
In a 50ml glass dropper or pump bottle, simply add the following:
5 drops Ylang Ylang
5 drops Lavender
5 drops Geranium
5 drops Patchouli
25ml Sweet Almond Oil
25ml Fractionated Coconut Oil
Use after a bath or shower whilst skin is still damp and pores are open to moisturise and nourish dry skin.
Other wonderful essential oils include Frankincense, Copaiba, Cedarwood and Siberian Fir (or any other blends you love). Use a total of around 20 drops per 50ml of body oil for a safe dilution for adults and avoid sunlight exposure for 12 hours if using citrus essential oils.
If you are pregnant or using medication please check the safety of specific essential oils before use.
